Dr Benny is a nationally recognized Spine and Musculoskeletal Medicine Physician. He is Board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation with fellowship training in Spine and Sports Medicine. He is also involved in the research side as well continuing to publish papers in the field. He is very involved in The International Spine Intervention Society (SIS) as member of the research committee and is also involved in other societies like the American College of Sports Medicine, Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, North American Spine Society. He continues to teach at the Baylor College of Medicine to residents and fellows and is the Director of the Fellowship in Interventional Spine, Sports and Pain Medicine.

He continues to be involved in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department at the Baylor College of Medicine where he is involved in teaching of residents and fellows in Interventional Spine, Sports, and Pain Medicine.

Dr Benny is an Interventional Physiatrist. He is a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Medicine Physician specializing in the Spine and Musculoskeletal/Sports issues.
